At Habibi Bears, our mission is built on trust, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of our dogs. Raising them with love, care, and individualized attention is a labor-intensive, seven-day-a-week endeavor—one that requires a dedicated team who shares this passion.

We do not cut corners, and our pricing reflects the exceptional care, training, and dedication that go into every puppy we raise. Below, we outline our pricing policies and expectations to ensure clarity for families considering a Habibi Bear puppy.

-1. Our Commitment is fulltime & our Pricing Reflects Quality

Many puppies are available for less (or more than ours).  Most puppies that are available for less are also raised by people doing this as a hobby or for a little side money, not professionals dedicated to producing and developing a breed or special line for a purpose like we are.  Is a breeder who calls it a hobby truly in it for the long haul? If it’s just a hobby, what assurance do you have that they’ll be there to support you down the road? For me, breeding is not a pastime—it’s a lifelong commitment. Since 1989, I have passionately developed and curated my breeding program with deep dedication.
This is my life’s work, and I am here for the duration.

When breeders refer to their breeding program as a hobby, it often means their primary focus lies elsewhere, with dogs taking a secondary role. But here’s the question: If breeding is their hobby, and they’re working elsewhere during the day, who is raising their puppies while they’re gone? How are they ensuring those puppies receive daily enrichment, socialization, and training? How are they shaping them into confident, human-focused companions?

The truth is, if a breeder is away at work all day, those puppies are primarily being raised surrounded by dogs—not people. And no matter how much they try to make up for it in the evening, it’s simply not enough. The critical early weeks of a puppy’s life require constant, intentional human interaction, hands-on experiences, and guided learning. These moments can’t be condensed into a few hours after work—they shape who a puppy becomes.

And what about the term home-raised? It sounds reassuring, but what does it really mean? Home-raised is often a catch-all marketing term that can apply to vastly different situations. Is that home clean? Are the puppies actively cared for throughout the day, or are they tucked away in a back room, left alone while their breeder works a 9–5 job? Does that home offer an immersive daily curriculum, meaningful activities, and structured training?  In some cases, yes, but in most…not even close. 

Simply being home-raised doesn’t equate to quality. True quality means a carefully designed program—one that includes daily enrichment, structured handling exercises, and a fully planned schedule tailored to each puppy’s development. It means an investment in time, education, and experience, ensuring that every puppy is set up for lifelong success.

For us, this isn’t just a title—it’s a standard of excellence that we uphold every single day. Because our puppies—and their future families—deserve nothing less.

This intentional bonding process nurtures trust and prepares them to form deep, loving relationships with their future families—a process that requires time, dedication, and plenty of love!

  ✔ A thoughtfully designed developmental curriculum tailored to prepare each puppy for success as a beloved family companion and, for those with the right temperament, a potential therapy or service dog.

  ✔ We uphold the highest standards in health care, nutrition, and enrichment, practicing natural rearing and incorporating homeopathic and holistic care to support our puppies’ well-being.

As a small, family-run program, we hold ourselves to the highest standards, never cutting corners. From top-quality nutrition and veterinary care to thoughtful enrichment and expert-guided training, every aspect of our puppies’ well-being is prioritized. We believe in doing what’s best for our dogs, ensuring they receive the very best start in life—because they deserve nothing less.

Our Puppy Nursery and Enrichment Center is thoughtfully designed to meet every need of our puppies. This carefully crafted, nurturing space is my heart’s work—a place filled with love, joy, and the foundation for their best start in life.

2. Early Bird Pricing & Waitlist Policy

Exclusive Early Bird Pricing & Reservation Process

At Habibi Bears, we value families who plan ahead and commit to our program. Your early commitment helps us carefully plan our breeding program while ensuring each puppy has a loving home waiting for them. To reward our dedicated families, we offer an exclusive pricing structure with the best value for those who secure their spot in advance.

How Early Bird Pricing Works

Early Bird Pricing is the most valuable option for adopting a Habibi Bear. It allows you to:

✔ Secure your puppy at the best price

✔ Take your puppy home on its litter’s Gotcha Day (typically at 8–9 weeks old)

✔ Opt to add Puppy Charm School for additional training if desired

This exclusive pricing is available only on Golden Paw Waitlist Open Days as a way to reward our committed families.

How to Reserve a Puppy at Early Bird Pricing

To qualify for Early Bird Pricing, a deposit must be placed on a future litter during our Golden Paw Opening Day. This ensures:

✔ You lock in the best value and secure a puppy without additional training requirements.

✔ We can plan our waiting list accordingly to provide the best experience for our families.

✔ You gain access to our Human’s Guide to the Dog Galaxy program with ongoing support.

Important Notes:

✔ Early Bird Pricing is ONLY available to families who commit in advance by reserving a future litter.

✔ Once a litter is born, if any spots remain, we will offer them to families on a first-come basis. After this, the list will be closed.

✔ Occasionally, we select specific puppies for extended training. These puppies will be listed on the Trained Puppy Page, and their price will reflect their level of training.

✔ Any unmatched puppies on Gotcha Day will automatically begin Puppy Charm School, and their price will increase to reflect their training. If you did not join the waitlist with an Early Bird deposit and later inquire about an available trained puppy, Early Bird Pricing will not apply.

✔ Watching puppies grow and waiting to inquire about a trained puppy does not entitle you to Early Bird Pricing. Pricing on trained puppies in non-negotiable.  Planning ahead is key!

 5. Our Time & Services

We often receive requests for discounts, free delivery, and special accommodations. Please understand that every extra request cannot be accomodated.

Ground Delivery:

Ground delivery is an optional add-on service we offer to provide additional assistance to our families who find travel inconvenient. This service is not included in the price of your puppy and is not free.  We charge a reasonable fee to cover the time, effort, and logistics involved in safely transporting your puppy to you. If you do not find value in this service, you are always welcome to pick up your puppy for free on Gotcha Day for your litter.

Our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible for our puppies and families, and we appreciate your understanding of the time and effort involved in offering this service.
